National Inspection & Consultants (NIC) is looking for NAS-410 Level II NDT technicians for long term contract opportunity in the Tucson AZ area. The duration of this project is (1) one year with possibility of going longer (extension).

This is an opportunity to work for one of the worlds largest aviation maintenance and repair operations in the world. In this position you will be performing calibrations, NDT tests and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have at least 18 months of documented commercial aviation NDT experience.
* Candidates will be required to be certified/certifiable to NAS-410 in Eddy Current [ET], Ultrasonic [UT], Dye Penetrant [PT], and Magnetic Particle [MT].
* Must have strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
* Must have excellent attention to detail and mathematically proficient.

Work performed with be in an aircraft maintenance hangar, flightline, and Avionics Shop. Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperatures, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on safety data sheets and working around moving machinery.
