NAVSEA Level II MT/VT Technicians - Newport News, VA
Duration: 6-12 MONTHS
National Inspection & Consultants [NIC] is seeking qualified Level II MT/VT inspectors for a long term project in Virginia.
((Individuals with NAVSEA experience are preferred))
In this position you will be performing inspections on welds in accordance with NAVSEA codes and standards utilizing Magnetic Particle Testing and Visual Weld Testing.
Knowledge of shipboard structures and systems is a +
REQUIRED:
1. Must have documentation to support requirements have been met to achieved VT and MT NDT requirements.
2. Must have 2 years of NDT experience
3. You must be able to pass a background check (for security clearance)
4. You must be able to pass a drug test.
5. Personal vehicle is required with clean driving record.
