National Inspection & Consultants is seeking Level II MT/VT Technicians for long term opportunities in Virginia. Any experience in shipbuilding, manufacturing, military industries is highly preferred (one year)

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous training and certifications in VT and MT inspection methods meeting the minimum requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A.

Ongoing project work (12+ months)
Overtime/per diem/competitive wage

1- Minimum of 210 OJT hours in VT | 24 hours of classroom training
2. Minimum of 280 OJT hours in MT | 20 hours of classroom training
3. MUST be able to read blueprints and interrupt requirements
4. MUST pass with an 80% or better on the Level II testing in General, Specific and Practical exams
5. MUST be able to pass a stringent background check
6. NAVSEA experience is a PLUS
7. HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
8. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a testing related field
