Pipeline Safety (PS) is in immediate need of QA/QC Consultants-AUT Auditors for upcoming work in 1st QT 2026.
General Requirements:
10 + years in UT, with Phased Array experience.
General Knowledge of AUT systems is needed.
10+ years of Radiography experience in addition to UT experience will be considered a PLUS.
ASNT Certified in UT / RT preferred but not mandatory to apply.
Travel within U.S. where projects are taking place for long durations is required.
(Most pipelines are taking place in Texas and Louisiana over next year).
QA/QC Consultant
Pipeline Safety LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Consultant to support our ongoing commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence in pipeline construction and maintenance. This role plays a critical part in overseeing quality assurance and quality control functions on behalf of our clients, ensuring all project activities align with established specifications, procedures, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to managing contractor performance and ensuring the integrity of pipeline operations.
QA/QC Consultant is responsible for, but not limited to:
Determine, set, and verify client specifications and/or procedures
Develop inspection procedures and implement processes for compliance
Ensure inspections meet applicable procedures and reports and determine/administer corrective actions
Provide inspection planning and administration
Verify testing results and processes
Provide supervision, advice, surveillance and quality assurance over the client’s appointed contractor performing project task
Oversight of the contractor’s responsibilities to ensure project effectiveness
Use independent judgment and discretion in order to accept and/or reject work product of the client’s appointed contractors
Use stop work authority if necessary to "stop the job" if safety is of concern

Skills:
Qualifications:
5+ years of QA/QC experience in pipeline, oil & gas, or utility industries
In-depth knowledge of DOT 49 CFR Part 192/195, API, and ASME standards
Industry certifications preferred (e.g., API 1169, AWS CWI, NACE, ASNT Level II/III)
Strong understanding of inspection methods, procedures, and documentation
Proven ability to interpret technical specs and ensure contractor compliance
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Able to work independently and travel to project sites as needed
Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
