Currently looking for an ASNT level III certification in VT, MT, PT and UT. Experience as CWI in Fracture-Critical Bridge fabrication inspection is also plus.

*Review proposals for anticipated NDT and welding requirements.
*Review contracts for NDT and welding requirements.
*Delevop/maintain/review/approve and verify NDT procedures, personnel qualifications, and inspection documentation.
*The ability to review RT film for technique-not acceptance.
*Review vendor welding procedures and qualification data for compliance to contract and code requirements.
*Audit NDT internal NDT programs and also the vendors programs as well
*Develop Weld & NDT training programs for required disciplines, including course and tests.
*Administer training, examination, and certification of Level I and Level II inspection personal.
*Maintain certification records on NDT personnel & submit copies to customer as required.
*Supervise NDT inspection personnel in accordance to company procedures and contract requirements.
*Obtain and maintain adequate NDT equipment/material to perform NDT inspections and the inspection records.
*Interface w/ purchasing in selection of NDT vendor
*Maintains weld procedure approval from the company's customer base.
*Coordinates w/ the Welding Supervisor for the initial qualification of proocedures & personnel and maintenance of procedure, personnel and maintenance of procedure & personnel qualification.
*Review deviation/waiver requests and dicrepancy reports from customers and initiate appropriate actions
*Prepare and/or submit contract deviation/waiver request to customer.
*Preparation and issuance of Corrective Action Report (C.A.R.s) and Supplier Corrective Action Report (S.C.A.R.s)
