We are currently seeking a Qualified Level II NDT Technician to perform ultrasonic shearwave weld inspection and thickness testing of railroad tank cars at our DuBois, PA railcar repair facility. This is a permanent full-time salary position. All potential candidates will need to provide objective evidence of classroom training, previous certifications and at least one year experience performing UT shearwave inspection of SAW, FCAW or SMAW welds. Successful completion of a shearwave calibration and practical exam per ASME Section V, Article 5 will be required before job offer is made. In addition to UT, other responsibilities may include performing PT, MT, LT VT & RVT examinations. Occasional travel may be required to our Elk Mills, MD location.
