Our clients Maintenance Company has a 1200 man multi-national workforce and is part of a highly respected Saudi Arabian Group of Companies that provides construction, fabrication and operation & maintenance services to the petrochemical and oil & gas industries. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage the activities of assigned personnel in the three (3) Maintenance Divisions. Perform management and supervisory functions, and exercise financial authority at the level established for the position. - Direct the provision of safe, qualitative maintenance services for the various plants under contract with the Company. Liaise, visit and coordinate with clients’ senior management to promote sound public relations and resolve any contractual interpretation matters, as necessary. - Work closely with the Business Development Department regarding new business development, and direct strategy and bidding efforts for renewal of existing contracts and for new contracts. - In conjunction with Human Resources, direct the recruitment and selection of personnel adequate and Directs the company-wide Training and Development Coordinator - Work with the Project Managers and Accounts Department to prepare the annual operating and capital budgets, and fiscally implement after management approval. - Perform other similar or related duties, such as provide technical advice and instructions to subordinates, call and chair various staff meetings, review and prepare a variety of reports and correspondence, etc. - Travel within and outside Saudi Arabia, as may be necessary, to manage the current maintenance business and/or to bid and develop new maintenance business in accordance with the approved Company strategy. - Represent the General Manager, as and when delegated to do so. You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) At least 15 years of broad experience in plant maintenance in the petrochemical and/or oil & gas industries, with increasing levels of responsibility up to Manager level, and a minimum of 5 years working in the Middle East.
