Inspection of conveyors used in Pharmaceuticals, Airport cargo handling, bottling plants, Iron ore handling , surface coating, computer and other electronic assembly plants , food products and chemical plants .
The areas of critical inspection carried out were on Conveyor rollers, Braking systems of the delivery end of the conveyor, Emergency stop devices, Warning systems prior to starting of conveyors, loading and unloading , lock out/tag out procedures, Designated persons for its operations , Guards at appropriate locations etc..
Ensured that all conveyors meet the applicable requirements for Design, construction, testing, maintenance and operations as prescribed under Indian standards .
Safety Engineer, The Korea Express Co. LTd, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia 1982 – 1986
Promoted to assume responsibilities for the daily operations and management of the desalination water production, water distribution lines and industrial waste water treatment plants. Conducted daily, weekly and periodic safety inspections of Industrial Equipment, Vehicles, Production Plants and Personnel.
