Summary:
Builds customer loyalty and contributes to margin growth by profitably adding new customers to the system and provides training/technical support to the team to contribute to the achievement of STORKS business objectives. Implements marketing programs with an objective of increasing market share by obtaining new customers and increasing throughput through added sales initiatives to existing customers. Responsible for evaluating target markets in specific market segments and developing and presenting sales proposals to clients.


This position is a Manager level and reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Implements sales strategies to achieve high performance business results and participates in customer relationship building events to foster mutually beneficial business partnerships.

Maintains and builds a client base through sales calls and other means of communication.

Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior, works in a safe manner and models company values.

Prioritizes work load and use of available resources within budget and time constraints.

Analyzes competitor sales tactics and growth strategies to determine appropriate counter-strategies and resource requirements.

Maintains a customer and community database to identify key decision-makers, track sales calls and document customer’s expectations.

Communicates and supports Company goals in a manner that defines the individual accountability for achievement of the goals. Monitor and regularly report on goal progress.


Plan, budget, monitor, control and report on expenditures in area of responsibility.

Assists and supports the Director in the execution of his/her responsibilities and represents their interests in their absence.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing








Experience:
Minimum experience level: 7+year(s).
Experience Area: Demonstrated success in Sales or Marketing. Prior experience in the Automotive or Aerospace required.

Must have demonstrated success in the writing business and sales plans

Must be experienced in managing complex and sensitive issues

Must have knowledge of determining pricing for services

Must be proficient in standard office software and computer systems.

Skills:
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications, and Licenses: Experience in managing complex business relationships, both internal and external, where conflicting priorities of team members must be managed with customer satisfaction as a primary goal. Strong understanding of the company operations to properly support and represent STORK in a mature and professional manner. Developed oral and written communication skills to meet variety of communication needs (performance reviews, presentations, employee training and development, and leadership) Strong interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect. Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities. Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events in the community, with customers, and within the company. Ability to operate a motor vehicle within Company policy. A valid Driver's License is required. Ability to travel which will include some overnights.
