HMT Inspection (A Division of HMT, Inc.) is searching for two Level I/II NDE personnel (entry level) to work from our New England office. Candidates will work with and learn from certified inspectors with on-the-job training to gain experience and skills toward becoming API 653 Authorized Tank Inspectors. Candidates local to the New Haven, CT and Philadelphia, PA areas are encouraged to apply.

These are not office jobs. As entry level technicians, you will be expected to support our certified inspectors on jobs throughout the Northeast United States (and possibly around the entire country or even traveling out of the country), maintain equipment, perform NDE methods such as Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL), UTT, LT/BT, MT, PT and VT, and interact with clients. Out of town travel will be required each week by company vehicle. Background check, Drug Testing and Motor Vehicle Records searches are required. We are also searching for a qualified Project Manager/API 653 Inspector for tank repair projects throughout the Northeast United States. Ability to successfully complete company L-II MT, PT, UTT, LT/BT, VT & MFL exams is required. An API cert is desirable. Good people skills and basic computer knowledge is essential. The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to perform inspections and travel as needed.
