Register today for the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT)’s Aerospace Workshop and Aerospace Event taking place from 5-7 April 2022 at the BAWA Centre, Bristol, UK.

Aerospace technique validation and standards workshop
The Aerospace Workshop will take place on 5 April 2022 and is organised by the BINDT Aerospace Committee and the BINDT West of England Branch. This workshop will aim to understand current practices for technique validation in the aerospace industry, review what is practised in other industries and finally look at any recommendations and gaps within the aerospace sector. The secondary output of this workshop will look at the current state of standards to support technique validation and will examine what other barriers there may be to adopting new NDT techniques.

Aerospace Event 2022

The two-day Aerospace Event will run from 6-7 April 2022 and is organised by the BINDT Aerospace Committee and the BINDT West of England Branch. This is the only event in the UK dedicated solely to NDT in aerospace! The event will combine spotlight sessions and a focus on new materials and processes. A provisional list of topics includes:
• State of the industry – military, aircraft bodies and aircraft engines
• NDT regulations
• Progression of new technologies in the workplace
• Changes in the air
• NDT of new materials and processes
• New market opportunities (UAMs and eVTOLs)
• Quantum leaps – academic research in NDT.
