To Whom is may concern

The position offering at your company caught my interest as I search my way for a full or part-time spot as a Non-Destructive Testing Technician in Aviation Technology. Please consider this letter and the enclosed resume as my formal application presenting my background, education and experiences.

I got back from the Military on November, 2005 as the Private First Class (E-3) with a certificate of Aviation and a diploma as a Food Service Specialist 800-92G. I maintained the above 90% grade average during my time at the basic training of Fort Jackson, SC and the last MOS (Military Occupation Service) training base of Fort Lee, VA. On August 2003I enrolled at the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. During this time, I managed to have the perfect attendance award. I graduated in December 2004 as one of the top 15% students. As listed in my resume, I also spent my last two years of High School at the Central Campus DMACC (Des Moines Area Community College) Aviation Technology program. Half of my day took place at the Des Moines Airport, and the other half at the school. I learned about the general aviation, airframes and power plants procedures. In addition, I also practiced on how to use materials to handle machine tools, and other special equipments used in building and maintaining airframes and power plants. I maintained a fully operational Cessa 337, a fully operational UH series helicopter, and a Sabreliner.

I’m a very organized person, a self-motivated worker, and a strong dependable team player with a passion for Non Destructive Testing Technician and Aviation. I can multi-task very well and enjoy a fast-paced working environment. These are the reasons why I believe that my knowledge, personality and hard work will contribute exceptionally high results to your company.

Thank you for your consideration. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss a position with you further. Feel free to contact me if you need any additional information or have any further questions.

Best regards,
