PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE
Accomplished, results-oriented retired military professional with 20+ years proven success in leading personnel and managing Nondestructive Testing (NDT/NDI), aircraft maintenance and quality assurance operations. Experienced change agent and advisor for commanding officers, with advanced skills in communications, public relations and project management. Seeking a career in the NDT or Quality Assurance field with full range of responsibilities commensurate with experience and qualifications.

EXPERIENCE .
March 05-present: Superintendent, Aircraft Maintenance, Quality Assurance and ESOH, USAF
- Provides oversight and serves as the change agent for depot aircraft maintenance operations encompassing over 8,800 personnel, 45 facilities, with an annual operating budget of $2.3 Billion. Advises commanders on aircraft, engine and commodity production quality/maintenance issues and guides work centers on compliance with technical data, safety, tool control and environmental directives.

2003-2005: Air Force NDI Field Program Manager, USAF
- Principal advisor to the Air Force and Air National Guard in developing and enforcing policy, providing oversight and managing the AF NDI Program encompassing over 190 NDI labs and 1300 military and civilian personnel. Developed inspection checklists and performed field audits to ensure quality, performance and safety. Planned and hosted annual Air Force NDI conference

2002-2003: Civilian Transition Director, USAF
- Directed operations to transition from 300 military to 165 civilians in aircraft maintenance organization. Responsible for the development, implementation and modification of Management Plan and Performance Requirements to ensure timely execution of transfer of authority within 18 months. Served as hiring official for all civilians.

2001-2002: Fabrication Manager, USAF
- Orchestrated production efforts in the fabrication shops (Sheet metal, Welding, Sewing, Corrosion Control/Paint, NDI and Machining) on intermediate maintenance of 40 military aircraft. Led 48 personnel and oversaw $7 Million in tools, inventory and operating budget.

1998-2001: NDI Lab Chief, USAF
- Managed operations to provide quality NDT inspections (ET, RT, UT, PT and MT) on 70 military aircraft and ancillary components. Supervised staff of 9 inspectors and managed $1 Million inventory of equipment and operating budget. Developed inspection procedures, developed and validated NDT training requirements.

1997-1998: Chief, Quality Assurance, USAF
- Responsible for the management and execution of aircraft maintenance quality assurance program encompassing over 4000 inspections annually in 16 shops and over 600 personnel evaluations. Supervised a staff of 12 personnel to ensure quality maintenance on over 50 military aircraft.

1986-1997: NDT Technician/Supervisor, USAF
- Served as first line supervisor/trainer to over 60 NDT personnel. Performed NDT inspections on numerous military aircraft platforms and associated engines. Performed over 1000 hours in each discipline to include PT, MT, UT, RT and ET. Developed and executed training plans to ensure new employees met qualification requirements.
