Experience
Worked in refinery inspection for 10 years. Held a Engineering/Inspection position with a major refining company. Responsible for inspection of boilers, process equipment, piping, maintenance reliability, preventive maintenance programs, license renewals. Assist in project engineering, new construction projects, monitor welding procedures and conformance to codes. Perform inspection of boiler and unfired pressure vessels, fired petroleum heaters, appurtenances for conformance to code and state laws. Inspected exploded and fire damaged refinery equipment. Write reports, procedures for repairs. Document procedures, review and interpret blue prints. Have working knowledge of codes ASME sec. I, V, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 1104, 510, 570, ISO 9000. Manage inspection programs, brought non compliance equipment back to code compliance. Knowledge and certified in NDT process. Experienced in maintenance, construction, inspection of boilers, power plant equipment, precipitators, steel mills, refineries, pipelines, auto plants. Attended college to change careers.
