• 31 Year career as degreed Materials Engineer. Nearly three years in Materials Engineering / Metallurgy, remainder in Nondestructive Testing (NDT). ASNT NDT Level III in Liquid Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Radiographic Testing. Certificate Number 44806. Certification first issued by ASNT in July 1993.

• (August 2012 to Present)- Current employer is Westinghouse Electric Company, Nuclear Fuel Business Unit, Rod Inspection Department, located at Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility, Columbia, SC. Serving as Principal Manufacturing Engineer in the Product Assurance organization. Providing NDT Level III service and support to the manufacturing facility and to supply chain. Promote Nuclear Safety culture and use of Human Performance Tools while improving Quality and ensuring Delivery. Leading teams working to improve Visual Inspection of fuel rods, and X-ray inspection of fuel rods. Technical Leader for Digital Radiography Conversion (Photostimulable Luminescence Method) at a key Westinghouse investment casting supplier to use this digital technology to replace x-ray film for image capture.
