Inventory control of all raw materials

Marked parts or tags with correct serial number using part marking machines and stamps and enclose with protective covering as required to each customers requirements. Ensured parts per individual order were not separated during movement to new work center. Tracked parts through computerized system to current work center and bin location to ensure timely delivery.

Prepared and ran aluminum parts through several chemical treatments to clean and/or degrease, anodize, etch, and applied chemical film.

Attached and removed wire from parts to prevent damage to parts during chemical processing. Cut aluminum wire to appropriate length and attached to parts for chemical processing.

Performed grit blasting or non-directional satin finish to remove scale, rust, paint, or other foreign material to ensure proper finish and prepare for other operations. Performed blast media in grit blasting machines and maintained equipment.

Chemical Treated Parts for aircraft, applied and used wide variety of corrosion primers fuel cell primers, top coats including clear coats to customer specified mil specs.

Complete design of stripes on aircraft from measuring and working with customer to ensure that complete satisfaction. Layout with computer laser layout to hand layout, masking, sanding and painting of stripes to exceed the customer expectations.

Chemical treated aircraft to ensure non corrosion process, sanded, masked, applied fillers to hide any in perfections, corrosion primed and top coated aircraft to customer specifications. Lay out of stripes per blueprints from customer, Used pressure pots HVLP and electrostatic guns as necessary to complete paint process with the highest quality.

Prepared and painted entire aircraft. This included: Layout of designs, final detail for delivery, and undertaking highly diversified and complex projects; prepared aircraft for prime using sanders, solvents, cleaners and chemicals; preparing aircraft for paint using cheese cloth, MEK and tack rags; using DA sander to sand for top coat and priming aircraft using spray equipment and epoxy primer; using conventional spray equipment to paint topcoat and stripes using polyurethane paint; steamed aircraft by using steam cleaners or high pressure washers; wrapped aircraft using masking tape and different types of wrapping paper; painting cockpit, assisting in layout of different designs on aircraft, and detailing aircraft after unwrapping. Other duties as assigned. Safely performed aircraft preparation, painting, and detailing of aircraft under minimal supervision. Coordinated with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, signed-offs and quality inspection.

Promoted high standards of quality through instruction and by setting a good example for others to follow in a team atmosphere.
