September 2009 – November 2009 Contract QA Manager Integrity Test Labs.
Performed as owner designated representative for Valero’s Major Capital Projects Group at the Delaware City, Delaware refinery site. Projects worked included LoTox and CO boiler construction and modification along with the Catalyst Cracker turnaround projects. Onsite performed Auditing and oversight of mechanical and civil contractors along with coordination and review of NDT subcontractor scheduling and Documentation. Also performed fabrication shop visits to approve subcontractor QA/QC programs, welding procedures, review NDT programs and procedures compliance to code & QC programs and contract requirements.

July 2009 Contract QC Engineer International Quality Consultants
Performed duties as QC representative for Aker Construction during Common Arc welder certification testing.

March 2009 – May 2009 Sr. Site Inspector Fluor Corporation
Work as a senior site inspector for Fluor Corporation on the Plant Shearer precipitator retrofit/modification project. Performed welder testing, onsite audits and ongoing/final inspections of production operations. Worked on coordination of different welding process for integration into the production schedule. Interfaced with the owner’s onsite Construction Management, Quality Assurance and Site Safety personnel.

May 2008 – February 2009 Contract QA Manager Peninsula Tech. Services

Preformed welding inspection and auditing of ongoing heavy construction in the oil refining and power production industries this included maintenance and new construction projects. Provided oversight and supervision of 3rd party inspection and testing contractors including NDT (VT, RT, UT, MT & PT) civil and materials inspection. Performed auditing of subcontractor QC programs to assure compliance to contract and code requirements.

July 2000 – August 2004 Contract QC/QA, Fusion Technologies Inc.
Filled multiple positions on various projects, to include QA/QC, owner surveillance, receiving and shipping inspections, on-site in process and construction inspections, off-site fabrication inspections, pre-contract auditing, in process quality training, process piping cleaning & hydro testing surveillance, pipe coatings spark testing and non-destructive testing (VT, MT & PT) services. Projects included petrol-chemical, power plants (fossil fuel, hydro-electric, and gas turbine) medical-pharmaceutical, and structural applications. This range of projects used various codes, specifications, and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ACI, AISC, SJI and KBC 202).

Responsible for training and certification of personal on safety, welding processes, production management, and quality management programs. Performed internal auditing and inspection services as well as performing product R&D, equipment management, and process/procedure development functions.

Performed supervisory and management functions for a crew of 8 personnel on various projects throughout North America. Projects ranged from inspection, construction, maintenance, welding, surveying, repair, and demolition services in the power, chemical, petroleum, water treatment, and transportation industries.
