timely replacement and prevented premature failure on
crucial component
• Indentified 3 U-2 wing blade cracked using pulse
echo ultrasonic resulted in engineers preparing for more
inspections for crack progression
• Evaluated over 200 off equipment components
utilizing liquid penetrant and magnetic particle inspection
which 20 of 200 considered cracked beyond limits and removed
