API/GWT Inspector

Currently have 3+ years of experience in field of NDE
inspection as an API 570 inspector and a Guided Wave Testing
(GWT) technician. Amassed a great deal of knowledge in the
classroom as well as hands on experience in the field.
Experienced using Guided Ultrasonics Ltd hardware and software
to detect areas of cross-sectional change on above ground,
buried, and SAI areas of pipe.

• Experience working is multiple refineries, mills, and
various plants throughout the Continental United States,
territories, and Europe performing various inspections.
• Responsible for gathering accurate data that is then
used in fit-for-service equations to determine pipe longevity.
• Responsible for assigning tasks to other NDE inspectors
and other union/non-union crafts during the inspection process.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team, in
the field, with little to no management supervision.
• Maintained equipment to ensure accurate readings and to
prevent equipment of premature wear.
• Designed flow charts for the entire GWT inspection
process, from pre-job walk down to the final reporting phase.
• Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctioning
equipment, in the field, utilizing proper problem-solving
techniques.
• Extensive experience writing technical reports that
include findings, observations, recommendations, and isometric
drawings.
