• Duties: On a daily basis I perform VT , PT tests and file the necessary reports Operational, Hydro, Weld Workmanship, Brazing, Cleanliness, Boundary, Compartment Closeout, and Lokring inspections on Navy ships at various bases and prepare the necessary paperwork; perform welding surveillances, and in- process surveillances. In the shop I am responsible for the Q/A of the incoming material and parts and oversee the qualification tests of the welders.

• Duties: On a daily basis I supervised and instructed twenty students in a variety of welding processes. I taught a number of academic classes, which included Welding Theory 1&2, Blueprint Reading for Welders, Metallurgy and Fabrication. My duties also included maintaining and repairing the welders and machinery in the shop. I took over this program in March of 2010. I had kept enrollment full and have helped students gain employment. I left the college in 2012 due to state budget cuts., then returned to teach part time in 2014-2015.
