I spent many months on pipeline and compressor station projects as a Radiographer's Assistant learning shot types, configurations and how properly develop radiographic film. I obtained my level II certification in PT and MT and my level I certification in RT as well as OSHA 10 and 30 hour safety course.
In my years as a non-destructive Inspector, I have performed RT/MT/PT on many various material types and configurations in many different environments including power plants, fabrication shops, pipelines, compressor stations, nuclear facilities, ship yards, rail yards, and In-House laboratories. I am familiar with every shot configuration including super imposed, elliptical, contact, and batch work exposures.
