NDT INTERNSHIPS | TAYLOR FORGE ENGINEERED SYSTEMS, PAOLA, KANSAS | MAY 2018 TO AUGUST 2018| JUNE 2019 TO AUGUST 2019
90% of the internships was focused in Isotopic Radiography (RT) using Ir192 and performing film interpretations to multiple codes and standards e.g. ASME Section VIII Div. I and II, API 1104, B31.3, B31.8. The balance of the internship provided experience in Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Visual Inspection (VT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). I earned and documented enough RT on the job training hours for RT Level II as required by SNT-TC-1A during the internships.

I participated in all the dwelling construction phases including foundation pouring, stem-wall pouring, sub-flooring placement, installation of trusses, roofing, interior wall creation, electrical work, drywall, drywall mudding, laying of the wood floors, and tile work with grout, as well as other finishing work such as trim, paint, and woodwork staining.

Objective
A lifelong career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) allowing me to utilize my soon to be attained NDT Diploma from Ridgewater College, and to expand on the NDT experience from my summer internships which will allow for future job advancement in this exciting profession.
