Travel wherever needed coast to coast in the US to certify in house as an NAS410 X-ray film and cr/dr reader in whatever alloy that was relevant to the need including stainless steel, cobalt, and titanium.
Contributed to the downsizing of backlogged production while maintaining a higher than 100% efficiency average. Duties included reading X-ray film and digital images for commercial aircraft, medical, and explosive parts to ensure they meet NAS410 and relevant ASTM standards, customer specifications, and strict in house safety and quality requirements, consult with other employees and be consulted for the purpose of improving work standards in all aspects, move parts that meet all required standards to the next process of production, and make sure parts that did not meet all required standards are identified properly in problems areas and ensure that problem areas meet all required standards during and after the rework process.

Was used as a consultant and contributed in the training of individuals to be NAS410 film readers. This included helping to establish formal training programs for individuals, participating in the training program as a trainer of individuals by showing them learned techniques in how to read X-ray film in accordance with NAS410 and ASTM standards, customer specifications, and strict in house safety and quality requirements, Answering questions of trainees. and over inspecting trainee work while giving feedback to trainees and management as to trainee progress.

Trained in the field of NAS410 radiography and successfully received ASNT and in house certifications in the field of NAS410 film shooting and reading for magnesium, thorium and aluminum alloys.
