Associates of Applied Science Degree in Welding Technology, Austin Community College, Austin Texas. AWS Continuing Education Seminars. ASNT classroom training in PT,MT AND UT.

15+ years of welding experience. Worked as a certified welder for 14 years. I have worked in the structural steel industry for 20+ years. Certified in SMAW,SAW,FCAW and GMAW welding processes. 10 years experience as a CWI and have worked in a quality management position for 8 years Experienced in writing and maintaining polices and procedures for quality certifications from AISC, ICBO and CWB. Performed Level II PT, MT and UT inspections to AWS D1.1 and D1.5 code requirements. Experienced in setting up welder training programs and overseeing welder certifications. 7+ years experirence working with quality auditors.

My desire is to continue performing visual and non destructive inspections and expand my knowledge of ndt testing methods, so I can a valuable member of a quality team. I desire to further my education and build on my present knowledge of ndt testing methods in order to become a certified Level III in PT, MT, and UT testing methods. I would like to get into pipeline and petroleum piping inspections and expand my knowledge in that area of operation.
