Through the technology of inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), CSL has performed analyses for the natural product, pharmaceutical, chemical, agricultural, and environmental sectors. ICP-MS is a trace element technique, which encompasses several techniques into one. It has the multiple element determination capability of an ICP with the detection capability of Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption or lower. The instrument does especially well in more difficult matrices, where the other techniques may be problematic due to interference properties. ICP-MS is an essential technique when attempting to determine metals, minerals, and elements. Chemical Solutions Ltd. (CSL) is capable of performing a scan of your material, "Total Quant II," for approximately 65 elements. The concentrations of about 18 elements are quantified. Concentrations for the remaining elements are estimated, and the detection levels are usually in the ppm range. The advantage of this technique is that it provides valuable data for a wide range of elements. CSL is focused on ICP-MS technology.
