General Tool Company acts as a seamless extension of our Aerospace and Defense customers’ teams, solving their complex fabrication, machining and assembly challenges and delivering robust manufacturing solutions for their mission-critical programs.
GTC’s core strengths are a combination of broad manufacturing capabilities and an experienced workforce. The majority of our machine tools and production equipment have been in place for less than 10 years. Our workforce of 300 craftsmen and professionals has an average tenure of more than 10 years. We remain competitive through continuous and regular investment in state-of-the-art machines, tooling and systems to support the growing demand for workpieces that are increasingly complex and have ever tighter tolerances.
GTC is located in the Cincinnati suburb of Reading, a community about 12 miles north of the city’s downtown center. GTC’s campus at the Reading location, comprises 295,000 square feet.
For special purposes such as assembly of confidential projects, we have a 35,000 square foot facility in Woodlawn, OH, three miles north of our campus in Reading. This building is secure, private and sequestered from other operations.
