A major client needs to lease the following type of UT equipment for about two months.
B-scan equipment with the same or similar (or of course better) characteristics as the Flaw Imager from Diagnostic Sonar with a 5 MHz linear array transducer with 125 elements. The coverage width of the probe should be at least 50 mm. The equipment will be used for inspection of the bonding between a skin (t=2 mm) and a rib (t=1 mm) in carbon fibre composite. The equipment shall be able to detect 6x6 mm defects in the bonding.
