WKU NOVA Center Conference
Start Date: 3/10/2011
End Date: 3/11/2011
The first annual Western Kentucky University Nondestructive Analysis Center (WKU NOVA Center) Conference to be held March 10-11, 2011 at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, KY. Experts from academic, industry, and government will be present to discuss the unique capabilities that exist at the Center and the formation of a national facility. As the only facility of its kind at a North American university, and largest instrument of its kind at any university in the world, the WKU NOVA Center is home to the Large Chamber Scanning Electron Microscope (LC-SEM). The LC-SEM is an extremely flexible instrument with a wide range of analytical tools for complete materials characterization. Through strong research and industry partnerships, the WKU NOVA Center will become a nexus for nondestructive analysis. Opportunities exist to develop research programs that do not exist at other facilities. More information about attending the conference and the WKU NOVA Center can be found at http://www.largechamber.com
