The Level II individual shall have the skills and knowledge to set-up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and to interpret, evaluate, and document results. The individual shall be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and shall be capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel. The individual shall be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents the control the method as utilized by the employer. Level II may write procedures, which must be approved by a Level III. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Operates and maintains radiographic equipment. Develops techniques. Skills:
High School graduate or equivalent with prior certification as a NDT Level I or II technician in Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, or Ultrasonics with 2 years experience. The above requirement may be reduced by completion of at least 2 year degree in Engineering or Science study at an accredited school of higher learning. Must have an Industrial Radiographers Certification Card.
