Job Responsibilities:
•Performs qualitative and/or quantitative tests or evaluations of products, processes, equipment and measurement systems to support company quality requirements.
•Improves design, production, process, test or validation methods by utilizing computer-aided design tools and analysis.
•Interfaces with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
•Collects, interprets, and evaluates the data relative to engineering or project requirements.
•Produces test and performance reports.
•Determines and records material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, equipment and modified CAD/CAM data.
•Calibrates, certifies and maintains equipment used in the testing and analysis of products, raw materials and in-process materials
•Assists in determining root cause and supports recommendations for the implementation of corrective actions necessary to reduce or eliminate product or process non-conformance
•Ensures configuration management of processes
•Develops statistical product improvement procedures.
Skills:
•Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) certification process for suppliers, equipment, personnel and processes (e.g., Level I, Level II & Level III).
•Support of non-destructive testing and non-destructive inspection [NDT/NDI] operations developing, documenting and/or approving techniques and procedures (e.g., supplier site survey, personnel certifications, process certification) that assure product conformance.

To be considered, applicants must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Non-destructive testing and ASNT Level III certification in Ultrasonic Testing. Preference will be given to candidates who have 10 years experience in ultrasonic inspection of composite material and are familiar with automated scanning systems.
