Our rapidly growing client is seeking another Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for its organization. This individual will interface with Sales and Marketing to design new products and sustain / upgrade existing product lines. Design experience must include FEA and Solid Works packages. Some other responsibilities will include directing machinists during the development of prototypes, working with junior engineers during the analysis and testing of those prototypes, assisting in vendor selection, and ensuring all designs are accompanied with the necessary design and assembly documentation. Position requires 10 years of recent hands on mechanical design experience. Experience with steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless and plastic materials, as well as strong knowledge of adhesives and powder coat, are also a MUST. A degree is required; BSME Preferred.
