PVI is seeking an experienced CWI to take on a four hundred hour project (10 hours per day, 5 days per week for eight weeks) in a client’s facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Inspector will ensure compliance to relevant codes during the construction process by performing welding inspections, conducting post weld heat treatment, welding procedures assessments and welder qualifications for the production of a slug catcher and vessel fabrication.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will be within the greater Baton Rouge area, a current Certified Welding Inspection (CWI) and have previous experience conducting assessments on vessels, reviewing material test reports and certificates of conformance as well having experience working within a busy fabrication environment. ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MP, PT is considered an asset but not essential for this element of the project.
