A leader in automotive braking systems is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support their World Class CNC machining area. This opportunity is available due to a promotion of a valued employee. This position will focus on new product introduction, process development and continuous improvements. Interested candidates will need a solid CNC machining center, turning centers, mill and lathe background. They run a variety of multi axis mills, lathes and multi spindle / multi turret lathes with live tooling. We are searching for a candidate who can develop processes, design tooling, fixturing, gauges, program, debug, and improve existing processes. This is a medium volume production environment. The position requires floor support within the CNC area. We are looking for hands on candidates with a minimum of 7 years of programming and engineering experience. Our client is in a three year old building with mostly newer model CNC equipment. They employ over 200 valued team members at this facility. MUST HAVE: 5 years of direct CNC turning and milling processing, programming, tooling and fixturing in a production machining environment. Knowledge of automotive systems is preferred. Experience with Fanuc, Siemans and Mitsubishi controls is preferred.
