Aerotek Commercial is currently seeking a Certified Weld Inspector for a Inspection company in Indianapolis.
On a day to day basis you will be traveling throughout the Midwest, long and short term travel, to assist and conduct visual third party weld inspections and slope verification in this companies pharmaceutical division. You will be working with stainless steel and carbon welds. You will be doing little if any welding. Travel will be up to 50% with 30% of that being overnight and long term.

Skills:
A qualified candidate will be a member of the American Welding Society (AWS) and be a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). If you only have one of these, weld inspection experience could be substituted . Knowledge of welding codes and standards is needed and strong welding experience is key. A Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Radiographic Testing (RT) Certification would be ideal. You will be using your own vehicle, but you will be reimbursed for mileage.
