GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager is a management position that requires both advanced technical and interpersonal skills. The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of their assigned branch.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Safety administration, reporting and enforcement
Scheduling and appropriately staffing all assigned projects
Prioritizing and monitoring workloads in the lab and field locations
Technical interpretation of specification codes, technical documents, prints and procedures
Inventory monitoring and equipment/consumable material acquisition and control
Monitor and control project progress and associated costs
Coaching, mentoring, training and career path counseling of subordinates

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Must have integrity and strong character
High school diploma or equivalent
Five years in related field
Two of those five years in supervisory role
At least three NDT Level II (or equivalent) certifications
