Looking for Mechanical inspector in Tulsa, OK area to inspect machined parts, mechanical assembly, and sheet metal. Candidate must be able to review First Article Inspection and perform in-process and final inspection.
Skills:
5 years experience as an inspector of machining processes, with fluency in reading and interpreting applicable drawings including the use of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5). The ability to use most inspection equipment: calipers, micrometers, height gages, bore gages, air gages, thread gages, etc. At least a basic knowledge of metals and their machining and processing (e.g., heat treating) characteristics, such as aluminum, carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, titanium. Experience in aircraft parts and industry strongly desirable.
