We are currently looking for dedicated, energetic, outgoing and detail oriented candidates for opportunities as Certified NDE Technicians in the Birmingham, AL area. Certified NDE Technician Acuren Inspection certified NDE Technicians perform various nondestructive examinations in a variety of industrial environments and industries, which include oil and gas, petrochemical, fabrication, power generation, aerospace, and pulp and paper. Our certified NDE Technicians in the service environment interface with clients and supervise and mentor other technicians and assistants.
Skills:
Certified NDE Technician Attributes and qualities desired:
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Level II UT, PT, MT ---API 570, 653, 510
  • CWI is a plus but not required
  • Must be proficient at UT shearwave
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDE tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDE equipment
  • Good work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and advance within the company
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent safety habits a must
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedule
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background screening
