A solid growing automotive engine and power train components manufacturer is expanding their CNC machining department again. This manufacturer is a non-union, 200 plus employee, high volume machining facility.

We are searching for candidates with 7 years plus of production CNC machining and strong project management skills. Past experience developing processes for multi axis CNC lathes, VMC and HMC is a must. Interested candidates will need experience calculating cycletimes, designing special cutting tools, designing fixtures and CNC programming skills. The main focus of this position is new product launches. Knowledge of APQP requirements and the ability to document FMEA, PPAP and work instructions is a must. This position requires some travel to customer and vendor locations to discuss requirements. Past experience managing new programs, meeting customer deadlines and delivery is also a must. Solid CNC machining and problem solving skills is key to this position.
