A growing automotive supplier of steering components is expanding their engineering department and launching several new programs. They serve both foreign and domestic automotive OEM’s. Due to their expanding business, we are searching for two additional Manufacturing / Project Engineers.

Interested candidates will need a minimum of 5 years of experience launching new components in a high volume machining environment. The ideal candidate will have a 4 year technical degree, knowledge of APQP requirements, excellent program management skills and strong high volume machining experience. The ability to process machined components and develop cutting tool packages is also required. Past experience designing cutting tools, part leading devices and automation equipment is strongly preferred. Previous experience managing and tracking projects ensuring benchmarks and deadlines are met is a must. This candidate will need to be very organized and have strong communication skills. Candidates should have experience with some of the following processes: cnc machining, cnc lathes, cnc machining centers, flexible machining systems, inline transfer machines, dial machines, index machines, rotary transfer machines, multi spindle screw machines, chuckers and/or any high volume chip cutting machine tools.
