A well-known Connecticut based company is expanding their operation. We are searching for candidates to join their Engineering department, supporting the swiss CNC lathes. Interested candidates must have a solid background in cutting tools, swiss lathe set up, cnc programming and troubleshooting. We will consider hands on working experience. This is a great opportunity for someone to move off the shop floor or out of supervision for a position in Engineering. Candidates must also have solid programming skills and direct experience on Citizen, Tsugami, Star, Nomura and/or Tornos Deco swiss lathes. The ability to process a job from print is strongly preferred. Our client will train in the use of CAD and CAM software, as well as, training on specific multi axis swiss lathe models.

We will look at Manufacturing Engineers with hands on experience or highly skilled machinists with solid programming skills on swiss lathes. The focus of this position is new product launches on state of the art multi axis swiss laths.

MUST HAVE: 3 years of Manufacturing Engineers on swiss CNC lathes or 7 years of hands on swiss lathe set up and 3 years minimum of swiss lathe programming.
