The Refinery Inspector is responsible for inspection program development and execution and reliability based improvements for a section of the Mandan Refinery, including TAR planning. The inspector is to provide technical support and recommendations necessary to run the refinery in a safe, environmentally compliant, and reliable manner consistent with recommended good practices, governing codes, and state and federal laws.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Inspection of pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and boilers.

Education and Experience
The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Minimum of five years experience in the petrochemical industries. Preferred candidate would have experience with NDE in Radiography, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic. Required to have a minimum of an API-510 or National Board Certificate. Must be able to pass the API-653 and API-570 within 2 years of hiring.

Additional Requirements Include:
Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, good planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
Technical competency in basic computer skills (Excel, Word, and Microsoft Windows).
