We are working with a Fortune 500 Company - a Worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products, serving the aerospace, power generation, general industrial and automotive markets. They are the market leader in manufacturing large, complex structural investment castings, airfoil castings and forged components used in jet aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines.

Our clients Mentor, Ohio facility is expanding to accommodate an increase in sales. This is a new plant and will be manufacturing additional product by the end of this year. We are seeking an FPI Level II Reader to perform all necessary operations ( under the supervision of a dept. supervisor or Level III ), in processing of parts through the FPI line.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from schedules, supplies and written customer or company specifications to comply with established procedures.
Prepares solution and process parts through necessary solutions for FPI operation. Cleans, applies penetrant solution, washes, develops, dries and other preparatory operations. Complies with standard procedure for checks on equipment and fluids.
Maintains all required processing records in specified form and detail. Performs processing setup, makes changes or addition of solutions under instruction of supervisor or designate. Complies with written or verbal instructions from Supervisor or designated representative.
Performs a variety of other tasks of equal or less complexity as assigned by Supervisor or Level III.
Detect and report improper operation and unusual conditions to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow all safety rules.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Basic requirement for operators is after sufficient training, must achieve an 80% minimum grade on operators test. Test shall consist of open-book methods evaluation and practical demonstration of FPI processing. Applicant must have 20/30 corrected vision.




Skills:
All candidates must pass a visual acuity exam, must pay close attention to detail, have good hand/eye coordination, possess strong safety orientation, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as possess a positive attitude and have a strong work ethic.
