Manufacturing Engineer – CNC machining, 4 yr. degree, project management

This Corporation manufactures a wide variety of highly engineered products, serving many different industries. We are searching for Two Manufacturing Engineers to join their World Class team.

Interested candidates will need a four year technical or engineering degree and 5 years of experience working in a metal removal environment. Past experience managing major projects to launch new components, justify capital equipment and continuously improve processes is a must. Knowledge of production machining, speeds and feeds, cutting tools, fixturing and part loading devices is required for this position. The Manufacturing Engineer will review prints, spec out existing of new equipment, develop processes, design cutting tools, work with vendors, develop machining procedures, document preventative maintenance instructions and train operators on processes. Experience taking new components from print to production is strongly preferred. Candidates will need experience with CNC machine tools. Strong turning experience is also preferred. CNC Programming and knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus. We are searching for candidates with leadership skills, the ability to work with associates at all levels and solid documentation skills. The ideal candidate will have exposure to a few of the following processes: cnc lathes, twin spindle cnc lathes, swiss type cnc lathes, machining centers, VMC ‘s, cnc mills, rotary transfer machines, dial / index machines, line transfer machines, automatic screw machines, multi spindle screw machine and/or chuckers.
