Their clients in the same sector include the oil and gas (onshore and offshore), chemical industry, power generation, water utilities, pipelines and construction. This company has a strong presence in Europe, Africa, North America, and is rapidly expanding in Asia (Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, etc).


NDT Operations Manager (MNC based in Singapore)


The client is a leading global firm in providing a comprehensive range of integrity management, inspection and non destructive testing services to the Singapore client base. The Operations Manager has the overall responsibility for the Singapore operations associated with Singapore local market.

The Operations Manager Singapore (OMS) will be based in Singapore and reports to the Business Unit Area Manager Singapore. The pool of technicians Singapore as well as site office managers report directly to the Operations Manager (OMS)

Responsibilities of the OMS include:

• Responsible for day to day execution of services in Singapore.
• Organise and plan all operational matters related to Singapore NDT
• Monitor progress and forward planning
• Responsible for adherence to company rules and procedures
• Generate manpower projections and recruitment of NDT technicians
• Apply the company HR policy
• Responsible for Health and Safety of work force and quality of NDT services;
• Recommendations to management regarding continuous improvement of our NDT services and implement agreed measures.
• Responsible for correct implementation of administrative procedures e.g. Axapta data, timesheets, work-reports
• The OMS will be based in Singapore, operating from our office in Tuas.
Skills:
Pre-requisite

• Strong management and communication skills
• Analytical skills and pro-active attitude
• Awareness of cultural diversity
• Minimum 5 year experience in similar position
• Knowledge of regulations and radiation protection laws
• Experience in NDT, preferably RT, UT level III
• Affinity with inspection and advanced NDT solutions
• Knowledge of computer use (Microsoft office suit)
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred
• Stress tolerant
• Drivers license
• Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
