Contract Manufacturing Engineer – 3-4 month contract assignment, screw machine, Acme, Davenport

Major well known OEM consolidated facilities. They have a need for a Contract Manufacturing Engineer with either Acme, New Britain or Davenport screw machine experience. The main focus is to launch products on screw machines brought into the facility. Interested candidates will need experience developing tool layouts, work instructions, PPAP and set up sheets. Strong documentation skills is a must. The screw machine Manufacturing Engineer will need solid hands on skills to debug set ups and train set up machinist on new processes. Interested candidates will also need a strong understanding of cutting tools, machine attachments and have the ability to work on the shop floor to resolve set up issues. Degree is not required, however, knowledge of multiple spindle screw machines is a must. CAD skills or AutoCAD is a plus, but is not required.

Our client will provide temporary housing, food and travel expenses in addition to a great hourly rate. Located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, our client has a temporary 3-4 month opportunity until job openings pick up locally.
