Description
Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, sales motivated, and possess a technical background. Responsibilities include the application, promotion and demonstration of high tech Nondestructive Testing (NDT) equipment to scientists, engineers and management in academic and industrial markets. This position calls for 50 - 60% travel.
-Managing relationships with System Integrators, OEM’s, VAR’s, and other sales channels.
-Providing sales presentations and delivering quotations.
-Driving applications and technology sales throughout the assigned territory
-Developing industry knowledge relative to typical requirements for hardware, software and systems.
-Competitive product positioning, including knowledge of market leaders.
-Articulate and communicate the challenges, strategies, and solutions to business trends within the industry.
-Managing all sales operational matters including forecasting within the territory.
-Being knowledgeable and aware of all the existing customers, which includes establishing effective relationships with influencing customer personnel.
-Ensure selling strategies employed in pursuing business result in high forecast accuracy
-Development of the business plan and delivering the bookings quotas as per the published business plan for the assigned territory
-Be conversant in return-on-investment discussions relative towards establishing compelling reasons for a customer to purchase.
-Resolve any customer satisfaction issues in a timely manner.
-Maintain reference sites insuring maximum customer satisfaction.
