Sr. Quality Engineer – AS-9100, machining, advance technology

Rapidly growing contract manufacturer of highly engineered aerospace components is searching for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their world class team. We are searching for candidates with a minimum of 6 years of quality engineering in a precision machining aerospace environment. The main focus of this position is to improve quality systems and implement the latest technology to ensure they keep their competitive edge. Knowledge of advance quality systems, problem solving techniques and experience implementing technology is a must. Interested candidates will need past experience implementing technology like vision systems, automated in-process inspection equipment, laser inspection and automated gaging. This position will interact with vendors and automation intregrators to implement world class technology. Candidates will need advanced problem solving skills using Six Sigma tools to identify root cause and develop action plans. The Sr. Quality Engineer will continuously look for improvement to their AS-9100 quality management systems. Strong leadership, communication, documentation project management and training skills is a must.

Our client has invested in the latest machining technology at the national and international manufacturing locations. Some limited travel to other manufacturing locations may be required. If you have a thirst for quality and technology, this is the position for you!

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 6 years of quality engineering in a aerospace / AS-9100 environment. Past experience improving systems and implementing advanced technology. Six Sigma training or certifications is preferred. Leadership and project management is also strongly preferred.
