KAKIVIK Asset Management, LLC, a successful Alaska company specializing in asset integrity management, Non-Destructive Testing and Quality Program Management seeks President/CEO with ALASKA EXPERIENCE. President/CEO is responsible for providing strategic leadership, collaborating with Board and management on long-term goals and policies, leading business development efforts, managing exceptional team of technical professionals, fostering collaborative and inclusive company culture, providing financial oversight for all operations, providing leadership for Shareholder hire/development programs, maintaining positive relationships in the business community and acting as the public representative of the corporation.

Position requires at least ten years of progressively responsible management experience in a technical or engineering setting with proven track record of success. Key criteria for successful CEO are as follows:

• Technical Experience and Industry Knowledge: Must have direct experience with or ability to articulate understanding of quality programs, non-destructive testing and inspection. Must have experience with the oil and gas industry in Alaska and Lower 48 – be able to articulate differences in markets as applied to NDT. Experience with or understanding of ANCSA/Alaska Native Corporations, particularly shareholder hire/development extremely helpful.

• Management: Experience as overall leader and visionary for organization of comparable size/complexity ideal. Must have experience in leadership role related to strategic planning, setting vision, and goals, successfully acting as public representative of company and successfully managing highly technical staff. Looking for collaborative manager who fosters staff development and team spirit.

• Business Development: Experience with generating, developing and evaluating new business opportunities is critical for this role. Looking for someone who can lead company in growth and expansion. Someone who is credible in oil and gas industry and brings existing Alaska connections to this type of business or has a track record of developing new contracts.

• Finance: Must have some experience with budgets, profit/loss, cash flow, realignment, etc.

• Board of Directors: Experience reporting to a Board of Directors highly desirable. Must be able to articulate understanding of roles of CEO and Board and have ability to communicate effectively across cultures.

Requires bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related field. Must be able to pass background check as required by Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Shareholder Hire Preference:
Preference will be given to Bristol Bay Native Corporation Shareholders and Alaska Native Corporation Shareholders in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g) and Title 42 U.S. Code 2000e-2.(j).
