NDT Level 2 processes parts, evaluates and interprets results, documents results, and performs equipment standardization checks. Our NDT inspectors perform fluorescent penetrant, hardness and conductivity testing to strict aerospace specifications.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection.

Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria.

Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.

Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel.

Stay current on the codes, standards, and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Coast Plating.

Maintain clean work environment.

Performs other duties as required.

SKILLS:
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems – AS9100 / ISO9000.
Experience in Nadcap environment.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
NDT-Level 2 Certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
