The Robotics Specialist is responsible for performing robotic and limited access inspection and repairs of gas or steam turbines and generators utilizing robotic and other remote access equipment. These inspections/repairs are carried out at power stations worldwide.
Will be cross-trained to perform Fluorescent Dye Penetrant testing on certain parts of the gas turbine and work toward Level II certification.
Develop technical training modules and conduct training for hourly and variable workforce technicians as required.
Stay abreast of new technologies and test procedures within the organization and continually expand certifications.
Support activities as required such as proposal support, equipment maintenance, process instruction revisions, new test development, interpretation of customer technical specifications, and support of internal or external meetings.

Skills:
Qualifications/Requirements: Combination of these skills, but not all needed.
Must be willing to travel globally on short notice, and for extended periods of time during outage seasons.
Associates or Bachelors degree in electronics, electrical or mechanical discipline, non-destructive technology, related discipline, or equivalent.
Gas, Steam, and Generator turbine operating/maintenance experience
Knowledge of design and construction of Gas, Steam, and Generator turbines
0-3 years of experience in a related field. Degree can take the place of field experience
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Current or prior NDT experience and certifications
Experience in a customer service organization.
